Introduction:
The cementing phase of well construction is of utmost importance and requires operating company personnel to possess a comprehensive understanding of cement, cementing additives, and placement techniques. To enhance cementing operations, some operating companies have opted to have a full-time cement service company representative who can assist with temperature modeling, computer programs for job design, and cement placement.
