Introduction:
The sites or yards where offshore oil and gas facilities, such as modules and platforms, as well as onshore petrochemical plants, are fabricated and constructed, are associated with high-risk activities. These activities include working at heights, confined space entry, rigging and lifting operations, and hot work, among others. Additionally, these sites are exposed to various hazards that differ in nature, scale, and the specific standards and practices implemented to control them.
