Designing Steel Building Structures by European Code- EC3 Course
Introduction:
This course's objective is to give participants an understanding of the limit state design and physical behavior of structural steelwork in compliance with EC3.
Course Objectives:
The objectives of the course are to:·
- Introduce the basic principles of limit state design and how they are applied in EC3.
- Identify the common failure modes of steelwork elements and understand how these are allowed for in design to EC3.
- Understand and be able to apply the procedures described in EC3 to the design of beams, columns, beam-columns, trusses and connections as used in simple frameworks.
Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for construction engineer, project managers, QA and QC staff for junior and senior engineer.
