Introduction:
This course offers practical guidance for individuals involved in project management or administration that requires the use of FIDIC contract forms. It covers essential management disciplines and procedures during the "Pre-Contract" phase, including the FIDIC Client Consultant Service Agreement and the selection of the appropriate FIDIC contract form. The course also addresses the "Post-Contract" award phase, encompassing all aspects of contract management disciplines and claims management issues.
Through practical examples and explanations, this course provides a comprehensive understanding of the application of FIDIC conditions of contract for construction (the "Construction Contract") and FIDIC conditions of contract for plant and design-build (the "Design-Build Contract"). It covers the 1999 Contracts books with particular emphasis on the highlights of the 2017 Second Editions.
