Introduction:
This course focuses on the operational aspects of a Gas Turbine with a specific emphasis on the MK VI Control System. Participants will be introduced to the key components of a Gas Turbine and the associated systems. The course will cover operational sequences for different types of GE Gas Turbines and their applications.
To enhance the learning experience, a Gas Turbine simulator will be utilized. This simulator will enable students to observe and analyze various operational issues. It will also introduce the fundamental concepts of troubleshooting and fault finding in Gas Turbines.
Course Objectives:
At the end of this course, you will be able to understand the operations of a Gas Turbine as controlled by a MK VI and/or MK VIE Speedtronic Control System.
