Introduction:

Within the everyday operations of a facility, numerous changes take place. However, not all of these changes necessitate the scrutiny of a Management of Change (MOC) procedure. Only deliberate and initiated changes, which involve a conscious decision to change, can be thoroughly analyzed and evaluated for their potential hazardous consequences and subsequently managed. On the other hand, reactive, spontaneous, or covert (hidden) changes cannot be managed as they cannot be anticipated. Such changes need to be addressed within other components of the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Management System, such as Hazard Identification and Mechanical Integrity.

Course Objectives:
