Mechanical Seal and Packing Selection, Installation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting Course
Introduction:
This course offers participants a comprehensive understanding of mechanical seals, focusing on their design features and practical implications in various applications. Participants will gain technical knowledge and practical skills to analyze and evaluate different sealing systems. They will learn how to effectively gather critical information from vendors to comprehend the limitations of specific products.
The training course covers the fundamental purpose and components of mechanical seals. Participants will be guided in identifying and understanding the characteristics of materials commonly used for seal faces and seal hardware, as well as recognizing the limitations of seals. Various seal designs will be discussed, including Pusher Seals, Non-Pusher Seals, Cartridge Seals, Split Seals, Double Seals, Tandem Seals, Spring Seals, and Bellow Seals. The course provides a detailed classification of seals and explores their respective applications.
