Modern Valve Technology Course
Introduction:
This course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the operation and configuration of more than 32 basic types of valves used across various applications. With a vast array of over 400 valve classifications manufactured by thousands of companies, selecting the appropriate valve can be a daunting task. The course aims to guide participants on how to specify and choose valves effectively.
Additionally, the course will cover various accessories such as actuators and their selection and availability. It will also delve into other components like proportional controllers, solenoids, positioners, and indicators. Considering the significant impact that the selection of the right valve can have on a company's safety, financials, and sustainability, the course emphasizes the importance of making informed choices.
The program is designed to provide valuable insights for both novice and experienced users, shedding light on the challenges faced by valve designers and manufacturing facilities in real-world scenarios. It takes into account the increasing number of liability cases worldwide and aims to equip participants with the knowledge necessary to navigate these challenges effectively.
Course Objectives:
The course is constructed for three different groups, i.e., Valve Selection & Specification, Valve Manufacturing & Maintenance, and Valve Design & Application Theory, it is always difficult to meet all the objectives of anyone group due to the diverse and completely different backgrounds in both education and experience. However, this program has been developed over the past 20 years to instruct all three groups at the same time. This is accomplished by integrating the fundamentals of the three groups to show the participant, how each discipline plays an important role for those who specify, select, purchase, design and manufacture and repair these many different types of valves. This seminar is primarily for those who are new to the field, but it will also serve as a refresher seminar for those who have many years of experience. Also, the instructor will show a number of products that use the latest techniques in Modem Valve Technology. The Instructor will discuss the latest state-of-the art in Valves and how they will affect the plants in the Middle East.
Who Should Attend?
This course is intended for Maintenance Engineers, Application Engineers, Inspection Engineers, Elect/Electronics Engineers, Control Systems and Instrumentation Engineers, Production Engineers, Well-Head & Drilling Engineers and the new Valve Designers. User, distributor, sales engineers or buyer of this equipment will also benefit & understand much of the design & manufacturing principles that dictates faster delivery of safer quality product.
