Introduction:
Conservators and restorers are a relatively small professional group that is in the process of becoming more established. Recently, a project was undertaken to establish a practice-based system as the main pathway to professional accreditation. This system builds upon the principles set by UK occupational standards and National Vocational Qualifications, but includes modifications to enhance clarity, streamline assessment processes, and promote intelligent and reflective practice.
Course Objectives:
