These respiratory devices are crucial in safeguarding workers against inadequate oxygen environments, as well as harmful substances such as dust, fogs, smokes, mists, gases, vapors, and sprays. These hazards have the potential to cause severe health issues, including lung impairment, cancer, and even death. Adhering to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Respiratory Protection Standard has the potential to prevent numerous fatalities and illnesses each year. The OSHA standards on respiratory protection are specifically tailored for various industries, including general work settings, shipyard employment, marine terminals, long shoring, and construction.
